Changxi Village
Located in northwest Wuyuan, Changxi Village is a little gem on the west tour route. Nestled in mountains and tucked away from tourist sites, Changxi Village has more than a thousand years of history, it features ancient residences, a way of traditional village life and beautiful natural scenery especially the breathtaking fall foliage in autumn. It is also one of the best hiking destinations in Wuyun.

Changxi Village is in a remote area in Wuyuan, that’s how it is still kept original, authentic and peaceful. If you want to explore this lovely place, there are several ancient hiking trails that let you just do that.
Travel Tips:
- Changxi Village is not easy to reach in term of public transportation. It’s best you have your own car or hire a car. Or you can take a bus to Qinghua Town, Fuchun Town or Shicheng then walk, which will take you more than one day.
- Fall is the best time to visit. If you want to take pictures of the stunning Fall color, make sure you come in mid- November to early December, that’s also when hikers come here for “leaf peeping”.
