Accommodations in the countryside
One of the best eco-lodges in China. The owners pay a lot of attention to details to make sure guests enjoy the natural surroundings. The rooms are aesthetically designed with the use of simple materials that reflect the nature theme of the lodge. The food tastes great as it is picked straight out of the garden.
Zhishangtang Inn is located inside Likeng Scenic Area, about 16km from Wuyuan Train Station. It is a traditonal, Hui-style old house which is about over 200 years. Entrance ticket (55 RMB is required) to enter Likeng Village, contact the inn owner to meet you at the entrance as there is some walking distance from the village entrance to the inn.

Located inside the Huangling attraction. Although very primitive on the outside, the interior facilities are quite modern and comfy. Worth staying overnight to enjoy the solitude and see the village before tourists pour in. The hotel has very good customer service. By request, they would have their hotel vehicle pick you up from either the cable car station or the parking lot if you drive. By staying here, you can walk to the glass bridge to watch the sunrise, you can stroll by the Old Street to enjoy the magic evening lights. Without stepping outside your hotel room, you will see cascading canola flowers blooming in Spring and autumn harvest crops displaying through your window, a truly unique experience.
