Likeng Village
Characterized by the river running through the area, Likeng is a quaint waterside village with Huizhou-style houses lining the riverbank and prank bridges spanning both sides. Well-developed and easily accessible, Likeng is a very popular destination with tourists.
Waterside Village
Old houses and buildings are dotted inside this waterside village. Shenming Pavilion is the center of Likeng, one of the oldest buildings. This pavilion was considered an ancient village court in the old times, where the village officials held meetings, discussed important issues, and punished villagers who broke the village rules. Nowadays this is where people meet up, take a break, and enjoy people watching.

Likeng is a water town. You can tour the picturesque village on foot, or you can take a boat tour for a different experience.
A totally different scene from the hustling and bustling Likeng during the day. There are many accom0dation choices inside the village, spend a night here to experience the serene and romantic setting.
Travel Tips:
- Opening time: 07:30-19:30 year around.
- There are two Likeng villages, with same pronunciation but different Chinese characters. This one is more well-known and more popular. The other Likeng is also an ancient village, but in a relatively remote area.
- There is a 10-15 minutes walk from the entrance to the center of the village. If you plan to stay the night in the village, you can ask your hotel with the assistance of your luggage.
- Bamboo raft or boat tour is very short, price is negotiable.
- Likeng is considered very commercialized, especially during the high season with many packaged tours going around. Plan ahead to avoid the crowds ( arrive early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid crowds, or visit in shoulder season )
