Moon Bay
Moon Bay is a moon-shaped island that you will see on the way to Likeng Village. It used to be just a roadside scenic spot that attracts many photographers to take beautiful pictures here. The best view of Moon Bay is in the morning, when mist hangs on the water. At that time, the white walls, black tiles, fishing boats, and green water become magical, just like a Chinese ink landscape painting. In spring, when canola flowers are in full bloom, the entire Moon Bay appears golden, which is extremely stunning.
Moon Bay has recently been developed into a beautiful attraction called Yueliangwan Park. It still has gorgeous views, but it has more now.
When you see the giant moon structure, you know you have arrived the Moon Bay! The bamboo walkway entrance is inviting, isn’t it? It is just the beginning…
A riverside walking trail lets you walk, run, all the while taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. A skywalk is being built for you to observe the stunning view from the above, check back soon.
Nice amenities inside the park. The gift shop has some unique souvenirs so step in and browse. You will also find local snacks and traditional food here too.

Bamboo rafting: a fun and relaxing activity, especially for a group of friends and for the whole family. During the summer, when the heat is unbearable, this is how you find relief by taking a bamboo rafting.
Travel Tips:
- Entrance is free for the time being, 50 RMB/person for the Bamboo Rafting
- Open time: 8:00-17:00
- 20 RMB/person for sightseeing bus inside, 10 RMB one way, recommend for elderly people or people with mobility issues
- #2 Bus from Wuyuan Train Station to Moon Bay directly. Bus runs from 7:30-17:10, Bus fee: 2 RMB/person, around every 45 minutes, wait time around lunch time is longer
